Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. Usage rules

• No illegal content, CSAM, or content that violates export law.
• No prompt-injection, DoS, or other attacks against Promptseng infrastructure or other users.
• No scraping automation that bypasses rate limits or auth. Build against our public APIs instead.
• No impersonation of Promptseng, its staff, or other users.

3. BYOK and third-party providers

Promptseng is bring-your-own-key (BYOK). When you run a prompt, the call is made directly to your configured provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.). The output is subject to that provider's terms of service and acceptable-use policy. You are responsible for reading and complying with them. Promptseng is not a party to those contracts.

4. Intellectual property

Prompts in our public library are licensed for your use. Prompts you author remain yours. You grant Promptseng a non-exclusive license to store, display, and version prompts you submit to shared libraries.

5. Limitation of liability

Promptseng is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or downstream costs arising from LLM output you chose to act on. Our aggregate liability in any 12-month period is capped at what you paid us during that period (or USD $100 if you paid nothing).

6. Arbitration

Any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of a mutually-agreed arbitration body, seated in the jurisdiction of Promptseng's principal place of business. (Placeholder — this clause will be replaced with specific arbitration body, seat, and language before GA launch.)

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from settings.

8. Changes

We'll announce material changes in the changelog and via email. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
